On Saturday, the Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF) visited Punjab to assess the security situation and forces deployed in the state in view of the general elections. He also visited the Border Security Forces (BSF) K9 Dog Training Centre in Ferozeepur. During his visit, he stressed on the importance of advanced dog training methodologies and highlighted the important roles that dogs play in the security of the country.
A spokesperson for the BSF said that the Director-General of the BSF had hoisted the 350-foot-tall BSF flag on Saturday, which is now the tallest national flag in the country. The flag, measuring 60 feet-by-40 feet, will be visible from a distance of kilometers, the spokesperson said.
On Saturday, Director General (DG) BSF Nitin Agrawal raised the 350-foot-tall BSF flag at Shahi Qila in Attari. The flag is 60 feet long and 40 feet wide. The BSF flag stands next to the highest flag of India, the Tricolour.
